Job Overview

At California Chemical, we are committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment for all employees and visitors. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse/Office Janitor to join our team. This role plays a key part in keeping our facilities clean, organized, and presentable.

Duties

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakroom, and office spaces
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in the warehouse and office areas (we provide a sweeper and scrubber machine for the warehouse)
  • Empty trash bins regularly
  • Clean windows, doors, and other surfaces as needed
  • Restock cleaning and restroom supplies
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and report maintenance issues
  • Assist with basic facility upkeep tasks as assigned
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning duties.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility.

Requirements

  • Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in both warehouse and office environments
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
