Material Handler Specialist -Outbound

Location: Chino, CA, USA El Prado Road

Shift - Monday to Friday- 8:00am -4:30pm

Note - Shift subject to change based on the needs of the business. OT may be required and is mandatory if required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to learn and/or perform various positions in the warehouse to company standards
• Ability to learn and perform outbound and inbound functions as required
• Ability to work various shifts based on staffing or DC business needs
• Ability to operate and/or learn to use power equipment and maintain certifications
• Other tasks may be assigned to improve and maintain the proper support of the DC

Minimum Qualifications

• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.

Additional Skills and Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience preferred; a minimum of 3 months of material handling experience is required for internals
• 6 months of experience with the Cherry Picker is required. Other Power Equipment experience (Reach Truck and Walkie Rider is preferred). The person selected must be able to obtain and maintain certifications.
• Knowledge of material handling functions preferred
• MS Office proficiency at a basic level
• Exposure to E1 and RF webpage is strongly preferred
• Basic math skills required
• Good communication skills with the ability to follow through on SOP's
• Must be a positive change team member that demonstrates passion and commitment to the success of the team and individuals
• Good critical thinking skills with the ability to see the "big picture" and be proactive
• Excellent organization and prioritization in a fast paced environment
• Other tasks may be assigned to improve and maintain the proper training and support of the DC

Physical Demands (some or all may apply):

• Must be comfortable working at heights
• Must be comfortable working in refrigerated areas
• May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
• May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
• May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
• May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion and great weights in a team lift.
• Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

• Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
