What you'll do

  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries and recommendations.
  • Demonstrate products through engaging product demos that highlight features and benefits.
  • Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for efficient transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering.
  • Supervise team members to foster a collaborative work environment and enhance overall store performance.
  • Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and appeal.
  • Conduct stocking duties to ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized at all times.
  • Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or marketing, particularly in a grocery store setting.
  • Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
  • Familiarity with retail math concepts to analyze sales data and inventory levels.
  • Experience in supervising or leading teams to achieve sales goals.
