Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fine Dining Server to join our exceptional team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing outstanding guest services in a fine dining environment. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting. As a Fine Dining Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and personalized service to guests throughout their dining experience.
- Present menus, answer questions about food and beverages, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all tables are properly set and sanitized before and after each service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including regular sanitization of surfaces.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Assist with training new staff members on restaurant protocols and service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Aloha POS is highly desirable.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling purposes.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed during service hours.
