POSITION: SCHOOL BUS DRIVER

The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking a full-time, on-site, permanent School Bus Driver/Utility Person.

  • Year-Round Position
  • Set Schedule - Monday-Friday 2 PM - 10:30 PM- 40 Hours/Week

Hourly rates starting at $17.43 per hour for new hires to the District, (approximately $36,250 annual base).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the mechanics pertaining to large vehicles, so as to recognize obvious problems or equipment failures.
  • Possess a current bus driver's license with proof of completion of an approved driver training course and C.D.L., and maintain all as applicable with state and federal guidelines.
  • Maintain requirements for bus driver's license, including physical examination, driver schooling, etc., so as to keep bus license current.

This position is eligible for fringe benefits after successful completion of a 90 day probationary period:

  • Health insurance plan at an affordable cost: $130 once per month individual; $210 once per month family
  • Employer paid dental and vision insurance plans
  • OR semi-annual stipend in lieu of health benefits if otherwise insured
  • Employer paid $40,000 in life insurance
  • Enrollment in PSERS pension program
