We're looking for a Data Engineering Manager to lead a team of highly skilled senior data engineers. This leadership role is not only technical, it's strategic and collaborative. The right candidate will have a proven track record in data architecture and solution design, strong interpersonal leadership, and the emotional intelligence to manage change and influence across teams.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 7+ years in data engineering with 3+ years in a leadership or solution architecture role.
  • Strong experience managing or mentoring senior engineers.
  • Track record of designing and delivering large-scale data pipelines using cloud-native tools (AWS preferred).
  • Hands-on expertise with:
  • Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark
  • ETL/ELT orchestration tools like Airflow, dbt, etc.
  • Data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, or equivalent.
  • Awareness of data governance, quality frameworks, and observability best practices
  • Collaborative experience with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to align technical goals with business value.

Preferred

  • Background in enterprise-scale data lakehouse architecture.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with graph databases or platforms such as Neo4j.

Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and aligned with the responsibilities of a leadership role in data engineering. We value transparency and will discuss compensation openly early in the interview process.
