Position Overview
The Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the clarity, consistency, and impact of CABI's brand across all platforms and communications. This position leads strategic efforts in marketing, communications, and public relations, while also overseeing major fundraising events and cultivating corporate sponsorships. As the primary liaison for media and press inquiries, the Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator ensures that CABI is represented professionally, accurately, and in alignment with its mission to students, staff, and donors.
Essential Job Functions

· Champion and safeguard the CABI brand, ensuring all communications reflect the organization's mission, values, and visual identity.
· Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies across print, digital, public relations, and media channels.
· Create engaging content, including press releases, newsletters, blogs, and promotional materials.
· Lead the design, production, and dissemination of key materials, including newsletters, annual reports, impact stories, donor appeals, and promotional collateral.
· Ensure consistent branding across all platforms and departments, including proper use of logos, style guides, and messaging.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and cultivate strong relationships with press and media outlets.
· Facilitate cross-departmental communication to promote cohesive and unified messaging throughout the organization.
· Coordinate special events, including fundraising galas, community outreach, and donor recognition events.
· Oversee the fulfillment of sponsorship benefits and ensure sponsor visibility across all communications channels.
· Collaborate with the CEO and CFO to lead corporate sponsorship efforts, including solicitation, stewardship, and recognition.
· Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and talking points for staff and board members.
· Maintain and regularly update website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and accessibility.
· Direct the creation and distribution of donor communications, including appeals, newsletters, and impact reports.
· Track and analyze marketing metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.

Qualification Requirements
· Proven expertise in managing organizational branding and enhancing digital presence across multiple platforms.
· Skilled in utilizing design software, email marketing tools, and social media channels to drive engagement and visibility.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for adapting messaging to suit varied audiences.
· Strong organizational and project management capabilities; adept at balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Willingness to support events during evenings and weekends as needed.
· Highly adaptable and responsive to evolving organizational needs and priorities.
Education/Experience
A minimum bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field with four years' experience within the field of marketing and/or fundraising.
Language Ability
Ability to effectively read and interpret content across multiple formats, including print, electronic documents, digital platforms, and social media. Strong verbal communication skills, with the capacity to engage confidently in one-on-one interactions and deliver presentations to groups of varying sizes.
Technical Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for data analysis, reporting, and presentation development. Experienced in using content design software, email marketing platforms, and social media tools to support digital communication strategies. Familiar with working with databases and datasets, including data extraction, transformation, and conversion into actionable business insights.
Reasoning Abilities
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with all levels of management.
