Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant / Front Desk Coordinator with a strong interest in health and wellness for our growing integrative wellness practice in Worcester. This position combines both clinical and administrative duties and requires strong communication skills. The ideal candidate can manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, is friendly, organized, sales-savvy, and passionate about health, wellness, and aesthetics.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism, you'll be the first face they see.
  • Manage patient intakes and ensure accurate records and documentation
  • Manage check out procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Assist provider with procedures and patient care, including IV setups, injections, and room prep.
  • Perform phlebotomy/lab draws and assist with specimen handling.
  • Turn over and prepare treatment rooms between patients.
  • Schedule appointments, process payments, and answer phone or email inquiries.
  • Confidently educate patients about services and membership programs.
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and organized clinical and front office spaces.
  • Support marketing efforts and represent the brand with professionalism.

Experience in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics is highly valued. The Front Desk Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and delivering a positive patient experience.

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided for qualified candidates committed to professional development.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
