About The Opportunity

As a
Senior Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales
at Avenue Code, you'll lead client-facing engagements in the Bay Area, designing high-value enterprise and AI-driven solutions. You'll partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex challenges into scalable architectures across cloud and emerging technologies. Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales and Enterprise Architecture activities, focusing on the development of a solutions portfolio that includes projects, systems, and shared application services.
• Engage with clients in person to conduct in-depth discovery sessions, understanding their business goals, technical challenges, and strategic objectives.
• Analyze current scenarios (AS-IS) and define future scenarios (TO-BE), identifying gaps and developing incremental, high-value architecture proposals.
• Design and present technical proposals for architectural projects and solutions, demonstrating a strong business-oriented approach.
• Leverage deep knowledge of AI and emerging technologies to architect innovative solutions that address complex client problems.
• Develop comprehensive roadmaps for projects and solutions, considering dependencies across all Enterprise Architecture domains.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with industry best practices, design patterns, and Enterprise Architecture principles.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) to architect scalable and robust solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and delivery, to ensure seamless project handoff and execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in a similar pre-sales capacity.
• Extensive experience in preparing and presenting commercial proposals.
• In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Expertise in Enterprise Architecture techniques, including business capabilities' management, gap analysis, value stream, and journey development.
• Proficiency in relevant industry technologies and platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong experience interacting with various business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze and transform current scenarios into future state solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, agile processes, and CI/CD practices.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Must reside in the Bay Area and be available for on-site client visits.

Nice To Have Skills

• Certification in Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
• Experience in large-scale digital transformation projects.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in Enterprise Architecture.
