Physician Collaborator/Supervisor for an NP practice

About the Practice:

A Nurse Practitioner is in the process of opening a patient-centered clinic in Georgia offering Primary Care, Medical Weight Loss, and Functional Medicine services in Marietta, GA. The practice is focused on optimizing health through evidence-based medicine, lifestyle modification, and preventive care. No controlled substances will be prescribed, as the clinic emphasizes root-cause medicine and holistic approaches to wellness.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Georgia-licensed Physician to serve as a Collaborating Physician in accordance with state requirements. This role is ideal for a physician who enjoys mentorship, and supports nurse practitioner-led models of care. A physician collaborator/supervisor that is knowledgeable, polite, and a team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide collaborative oversight per Georgia law (review of 10% of patient charts quarterly).

  • Participate in occasional meetings to ensure compliance and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license.

  • Must reside in Georgia

  • Experience/ Specialty in primary care

  • Interest in functional medicine, or weight management preferred.

  • Supportive of nurse practitioner autonomy and professional growth.

Compensation:

· Flexible, low-volume collaboration—ideal for those seeking a supplemental opportunity.

· The startup compensation is a flat $300 per month, with potential for increase as patient volume grows. The collaboration fee will be paid monthly.

  • 1099 position.
