We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for an enjoyable dining experience
  • Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are clearly communicated
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while balancing registers at shift end
  • Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures
  • Assist with food preparation or bussing tables as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
  • Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency
  • Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service in a fine dining or casual setting
  • Support sanitation efforts by keeping work areas clean and organized throughout your shift

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including serving or host/host roles
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently and effectively increase sales through suggestive selling techniques
  • Experience with fine dining service standards or nightclub environments is a plus
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, check splitting, and handling cash transactions accurately
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of reservation management platforms like OpenTable is advantageous
  • Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity can enhance your ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
