Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance across Sundance's commercial properties. This role focuses on hands-on work with building systems, tenant service requests, and basic troubleshooting to support the overall function and appearance of the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
  • Complete work orders and tenant service requests in a timely, professional manner.
  • Assist with HVAC troubleshooting and coordinate with licensed contractors as needed.
  • Support Sundance's preventive maintenance program and monthly inspection routines using the Landport system.
  • Perform systems repairs (lighting, doors, hardware, plumbing fixtures, ceiling tiles, etc.).
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, including company vehicle, mechanical rooms and shop spaces.
  • Participate in rotating after-hours emergency response schedule.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of commercial or residential maintenance, building operations experience.
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general repair tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills for day-to-day issues.
  • Good communication and customer service skills when working with tenants.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Landport or other maintenance/work order systems is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license, strong driving record, and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in mechanical environments.

Pay: $41, $58,240.00 per year
