Job Summary
Baptist Health is looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager to add to our Operating Room at our Baptist South location. This is a Full-Time Day shift opportunity with a 40 hour per week commitment.
As an ANM in our Operating Room unit you will be responsible for:
- Providing nursing care to patients on the unit
- The assessment and reassessment of unit function; serves as a liaison for staff, physicians and other departments.
- Providing resource for staff members as well as mentors growth and provides feedback to staff
- Monitoring/adjusting manhours in accordance with unit budget
- Assisting manager with disciplinary issues and annual performance reviews
- Facilitating any special needs of the surgeon, meets with vendors and keeps preference sheets current
- The ability to perform any role in the service - scrub, assist or circulate
