Summary

We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer to join our team and drive growth through new client acquisition and strategic partnerships. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong understanding of B2B sales, relationship building, and the green industry. You'll play a key role in expanding our footprint across the region and helping us reach new levels of success.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial landscape sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage territory effectively to maximize sales potential and achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored solutions for clients.
  • Utilize upselling techniques to enhance service offerings and increase revenue.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Requirements

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets (Healthcare Facilities, Schools & Universities, Office Complexes & Businesses, Senior Living Communities, Apartments, Hospitality, Retail Centers, and Churches, etc.).
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and events.
  • Conduct site visits, needs assessments, and client consultations to develop custom solutions.
  • Collaborate with operations and estimating teams to develop proposals and pricing.
  • Present and negotiate service agreements to close new business.
  • Maintain CRM records and report on sales activity and forecasting.
  • Represent Caramanico with professionalism and integrity at industry events and trade shows.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in business development or outside sales (B2B services preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

  • Experience in commercial landscaping, facilities services, or property management industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Horticulture, or related field.
