Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to join our team. The
ideal candidate will ensure compliance with company policies, oversee kitchen
operations, and maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality food production environment.
While reporting directly to the operations manager. This role requires excellent
communication, leadership, and organizational skills, mathematical skills, along with a
strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Lead the kitchen team in daily operations ensuring efficient workflow and
high-quality food preparation
● This position is an active role, must be willing to participate in all kitchen and staff
activities
● Enforce compliance with personal hygiene and uniform policies among all
culinary team members.
● Manage food and labor costs by adhering to recipes provided
● Manage inventory control, proper rotation
● Ensure effective cleaning schedules are maintained across all food production
and service areas.
● Monitor and report equipment safety and functionality, escalating issues to the
executive chef and engineering team.

● Demonstrate a passion for cooking and commitment to quality, safety, and
sanitation practices.
● Promote the use of local ingredients and stay informed on current culinary
trends.
● Supervise all kitchen production activities, ensuring recipe standards and efficient
food preparation.
● Oversee service for all food outlets, including brunch, lunch and dinner services.
● Provide employee guidance and corrective action as necessary.
● Support and maintain the kitchen structure for all service periods and outlets.

● Make sure prepared plates are correct and properly garnished
● Direct kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking and cleaning
● Align tasks and supervise staff to ensure quality
● Maintain control of the kitchen to ensure that all tasks are carried out effectively
and efficiently
● Resolve issues as they arise so that customers continue to receive their orders in
a timely manner
● Make sure that all kitchen and wait staff adhere to food safety and hygiene
regulations to ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen
● Conduct a weekly inventory
● Train, mentor and supervise the kitchen staff
● Create the schedule for the kitchen staff
● Maintain kitchen equipment and maintenance as needed
● Implement, monitor and document relevant food safety programs
● Plan and execute banquet events, ensuring exceptional presentation and service
quality
● Work minimum of 5 days per week 6-7 when necessary as well as working up to
14hour shifts
● Cover any shift that is dropped
● Maintain standards set by operations manager of kitchen operation, organization,
cleanliness
Qualifications
● Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or
culinary setting
● Creative mindset with a passion for culinary arts and innovation in menu content
● Strong kitchen management skills including inventory control.
● Leadership experience and presence
● A keen eye for detail and ability to maintain attention to detail while in a
fast-paced environment
● Excellent food handling skills
● Ability to remain productive when pulled in many different directions
● Simple math skills addition,subtraction ,division , multiplication
● Lift up to 50lbs
● Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED (Culinary
degree or equivalent experience preferred).
● ServeSafe Manager level certification
● Strong instructional skills
Qualifications and Requirements:
● Must be available for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
