Job Summary

Leads the design, development, and delivery of ESFM's external financial and operational business intelligence solutions to drive actionable insights and data-informed decision making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and enhance dashboards, executive scorecards, KPI reports, and client-facing reporting packages withing Power BI and/or Google Looker platforms.
  • Automate data flow from various sources including Snowflake, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Excel.
  • Translate business needs into actionable BI solutions through stakeholder and client collaboration.
  • Oversee data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and BI governance for accuracy and performance.
  • Develop standardized KPIs, reporting frameworks, labor analytics tools, and client reporting templates.
  • Leverage BI, automation, and AI tools to streamline workflows and improve decision-making.
  • Stay current on BI trends and ensure compliance with data integrity, governance, and security standards.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in BI or data analytics within large, multi-site organizations.
  • Advanced Power BI expertise, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience in Google Looker strongly preferred
  • Proficient in SQL and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
  • Experience with automation tools (Alteryx, Power Automate).
  • Proven experience developing client-facing reporting and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Smartsheet, and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with SAP, Anaplan, or Essbase/Hyperion is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Deep understanding of BI concepts, data visualization, and best practices.
  • Advanced data modeling and architecture skills, including star schema design.
  • Strong SQL and database management capabilities.
  • Advanced DAX, Power Query, and Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to build/manage paginated reports.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling visual narratives for internal and external clients.
