Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Manager to lead and manage technical projects within our Telecom division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. This role requires a deep understanding of Telecom technologies and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Team Management: Build, mentor, and manage a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, resolving technical challenges and ensuring the implementation of best practices.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including project sponsors, business users, and technical teams, to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to address potential issues.
  • Resource Management: Manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure efficient utilization.
  • OSS/BSS Experience (Option 1): Possess a strong understanding of OSS/BSS systems and their role in Telecom operations. Experience in managing projects related to OSS/BSS implementation, integration, or upgrade is highly desirable.
  • Technical Java/AWS Expertise with Telecom Exposure (Option 2): Demonstrate strong technical skills in Java and AWS, with a solid understanding of Telecom clients' needs and challenges. Experience in developing and deploying Java-based applications on AWS for Telecom clients is preferred.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of project plans, technical specifications, and project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • [Number] + years of experience in technical project management within the Telecom industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Option 1: In-depth knowledge of OSS/BSS systems.
  • Option 2: Strong proficiency in Java and AWS cloud technologies.

  • PMP certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140, $150,000.00 per year
