Project Executive
to support and lead complex projects across its Chicago operations.

This role is ideal for a senior construction leader who enjoys full project ownership, close partnership with executive leadership, and oversight of multiple project teams within a high-performing, well-established organization.

The Role

  • Senior leadership position within an established Chicago operation
  • Direct collaboration with executive leadership and senior management

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout across a diverse portfolio
  • Provide leadership and oversight to Project Managers, APMs, Superintendents, and field teams
  • Own project financial performance including budgets, forecasting, buyout, and cost control
  • Oversee schedules, contracts, risk management, and overall project execution
  • Partner with leadership on staffing, project planning, and delivery strategy
  • Ensure consistency in quality, safety, and client satisfaction
  • Serve as a primary client-facing leader and mentor to project teams

Project Experience

  • Ground-up and complex renovation construction
  • Experience across
    varied project types
    (commercial, healthcare, industrial, multifamily mixed-use, etc.)
  • Typical project values ranging from
    $25M to $150M+

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with a
    General Contractor or Construction Manager
  • Proven success leading complex, large-scale projects
  • Strong financial and operational acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable operating at a senior leadership level with autonomy
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary:
    $185,000 – $250,000 (depending on experience)
  • Bonus:
    25% annual incentive
  • Health Insurance:
    100% employer-paid for the entire family
  • Vehicle:
    Car allowance or company vehicle
  • 401(k):
    5% company contribution
  • Travel:
    None – Chicagoland projects only
