Job Overview

We are seeking a personable and motivated Sales Representative to join our team, in our family-owned company. In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our customer base within an assigned territory, strengthening existing relationships, and delivering exceptional service. There will be a strong emphasis on expanding sales within our current customer base. Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and growing business within our current customer base.
  • Present tailored product solutions through sales presentations and demonstrations that meet client needs.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals efficiently while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize wholesale foodservice CRM software to track leads, manage contacts, monitor and analyze sales and profitability.
  • Provide ongoing account management support by addressing client inquiries promptly and ensuring long-term relationships are nurtured.

Skills

  • Proven experience in wholesale sales.
  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and technology in general, eg. smartphone, tablet.
  • Effective communication skills for generating leads through cold calling and networking.
  • Accuracy in transmitting information to and from management and departments related to your assignment.
  • Exceptional proactive customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and techniques.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing existing accounts, while simultaneously pursuing new growth opportunities.
  • Willingness and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in wholesale foodservice sales in the Myrtle Beach area is ideal, but related expertise is also appreciated.
  • Fluency in English is required. Any ability to speak Spanish or Italian is appreciated but not required.
