Responsibilities

  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions and cash handling.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist customers with product demonstrations and upselling techniques to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display through effective merchandising practices.
  • Supervise and train new staff members to ensure adherence to store policies and procedures.
  • Perform stocking duties to ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized.
  • Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
  • Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as it enhances customer interaction.
  • Experience with supervising staff is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies is advantageous.
  • Basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
