The Role

Are you passionate about gymnastics and eager to inspire young athletes? We're looking for a dynamic Recreational Gymnastics Instructor to lead engaging and skill-building classes for boys and girls at our premier facility. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in nurturing talent, ensuring safety, and creating a positive learning environment. What You'll Do

  • Lead with Excellence: Teach gymnastics classes in a professional, positive, and respectful manner. Ensure each student receives the personalized attention they need to thrive.
  • Track Progress: Keep detailed records of each student's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
  • Maintain Safety: Conduct daily safety inspections, address unsafe conditions promptly, and uphold all gymnastics safety protocols.
  • Engage and Communicate: Explain the gymnastics program to parents, address concerns, and maintain open lines of communication with both parents and the supervisory team.
  • Prepare and Perform: Begin class preparation 15 minutes prior to start, and deliver high-energy, disciplined sessions that maximize learning.
  • Collaborate and Contribute: Attend staff meetings, workshops, and assist in staff training. Work closely with the Gymnastics Supervisor to ensure smooth operations and continuous program improvement.
  • Stay Compliant: Adhere to Club safety policies, report hazards, and maintain regular attendance.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience & Certification: Minimum of 2 years' experience instructing gymnastics. Prior competitive gymnastics experience and USA Gymnastics membership with safety certification preferred.
  • Skills & Education: Demonstrated ability to teach fundamental gymnastics skills. Continuing education in gymnastics and current CPR/First Aid certifications are a plus.
  • Passion & Professionalism: A commitment to providing a safe, fun, and respectful learning environment. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Physical Readiness: Ability to perform physical tasks including spotting gymnasts, moving on varied surfaces, and standing for extended periods.
