How You Will Make an ImpactAs a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the acquisition of goods and services to support Atlas Energy Solutions' strategic goals. This role involves evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and analyzing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:- Supplier Research and Assessment:
- Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, product quality, pricing, and reliability.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses for potential purchases.
- Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Assist in the drafting and management of procurement contracts.
- Manage ongoing relationships with suppliers and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze spending data to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Track procurement costs and spending trends.
- Generate and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and supplier performance metrics.
- Collaboration and Compliance:
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations) to understand supply needs and align procurement strategies.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, regulations, and budgetary constraints.
- Provide support and guidance on procurement processes to internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or a related field OR 10 years vendor relations management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal partners.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
