Summary:

Facilities/ Housekeeper is responsible for providing general guidance and support to the rest of the Facilities staff as dictated by the Facilities Manager.  Maintain restrooms, kitchen, and offices in general to ensure cleanliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Provide leadership within the department
  • Follow all process and procedures in Facilities and Maintenance operations.
  • Clean kitchen areas, restrooms, and empty trash bins
  • Sign in ESD log twice a day beginning of work and after lunch break (Only required if working within 18 inches of product)
  • Review Maintenance Schedule or Instructions from Supervisor. 
  • Review Work Instructions for contents and completeness
  • Ensure all tooling is available prior to start a job.  When there are discrepancies, do not start a job without any authorization from Supervisor. 
  • Must be able to read and write English and follow instructions
  • Escalate all issues to Supervisor.
  • Complete all required trainings
  • Make suggestions on process and quality improvement to Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Be able to read, write and speak English well enough to effectively accomplish the job 
  • Be able to lift 35 lbs

Skills:

  • Possess and demonstrate good team relations skills  
  • Ability to give clear instructions and achieve goals and tasks
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Demonstrate some understanding of mechanical and electrical devices
