Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medicaid Eligibility Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in assisting clients with the application process for Medicaid benefits, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a background in medical or dental office settings, allowing them to navigate medical terminology and administrative tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in completing Medicaid applications and ensure all required documentation is collected.
  • Review client information for accuracy and completeness before submission.
  • Communicate with clients regarding their eligibility status and provide guidance on the next steps.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicaid policies and procedures to provide accurate information to clients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather necessary medical records and documentation.
  • Manage office tasks related to the processing of Medicaid applications, including data entry and filing.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred.
