Overview

Fitness Specialist is Odessa's go-to source for fitness equipment sales, service, and installation — serving homes, schools, and businesses across West Texas. We're locally owned, fast-paced, and focused on customer satisfaction.

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Operations & Administrative Assistant to help keep things running smoothly. This role supports sales, scheduling, and customer service — every day looks a little different, and you'll quickly become an essential part of our small, friendly team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet walk-in customers and answer phones with professionalism and a helpful attitude
  • Manage invoices, vendor entries, and pricing updates in QuickBooks
  • Schedule deliveries, service calls, and installations; coordinate with techs and drivers
  • Assist with product listings, inventory updates, and marketing content
  • Maintain organized files, supplies, and basic office operations
  • Support leadership with administrative tasks and project follow-up

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of administrative, customer service, or sales support experience
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks
  • Basic computer skills (Google Drive, email, spreadsheets, QuickBooks experience a plus)
  • Willingness to occasionally help with light lifting (boxes, parts, etc.)
  • Interest in fitness or local business is a plus — we'll train the right person

Schedule & Pay

  • Full-time: 35–40 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday 10am–6pm, occasional Saturdays 10am–5pm
  • Pay: $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
