We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support the HR team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They will provide administrative and clerical assistance across various HR functions including employee records management, onboarding, training coordination, and compliance support. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support internal and external inquiries or requests related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain both paper and electronic employee records.
  • Coordinate new hire orientations and assist with onboarding logistics.
  • Provide administrative support for HR-related training and employee engagement activities.
  • Assist in maintaining HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Partner with the HR team to implement best practices and improve operational efficiency.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Support HR compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to employment laws and company standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • 1–2 years of experience supporting HR or administrative functions.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and complete tasks with accuracy and consistency.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends as required.
