Sr Warehouse Manager

The Suffolk Avenue Warehouse is a 135,000 square foot storage facility that offers a number of distribution and logistics solutions including cross-dock, parcel shipments, online fulfillment, pallet breakdown, and the repacking of commodities.

Position Overview:

Front Street Refrigerated is seeking a seasoned Senior Warehouse Manager of Cocoa Operations to lead and optimize our cocoa supply chain operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of warehousing, transportation, and value-added services for our cocoa industry clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cocoa logistics, a proven leadership track record, and a strategic mindset to drive operational excellence in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership:
• Oversee all cocoa-related operational areas, with a focus on developing and delivering value-added services.
• Lead warehouse teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality execution of cocoa services.
• Assess and determine infrastructure and personnel needs to maintain top-tier operational standards.
• Cross-Functional Coordination:
• Collaborate with internal operating units (ports, warehouses, transportation, administration) to ensure cohesive service delivery.
• Maintain open communication with departments such as global operations, quality, and maintenance to secure necessary resources and manage outsourced services.
• Financial & Performance Accountability:
• Manage operational budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.
• Monitor customer operations, oversee gross billing, and ensure profitability.
• Partner with Accounts Receivable to align customer payments with company expectations.
• Customer Engagement & Growth:
• Build and nurture relationships with key cocoa industry stakeholders.
• Promote Holt's value proposition to cocoa traders and industry partners.
• Identify and address unmet customer needs to expand service offerings.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the cocoa supply chain industry.
• Proven success in warehouse management and personnel leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of InterContinental Exchange (ICE) cocoa rules, eCOPS, and exchange warehouse compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Respected and empathetic leader with strong interpersonal skills.
• High integrity, strong work ethic, and trusted by peers and clients.
