Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead our initiatives focused on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program development and management, along with exceptional relationship management skills. This role requires a compassionate leader who can effectively supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in service delivery.
- Supervise and mentor program staff, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, community partners, and stakeholders to promote program visibility and collaboration.
- Prepare and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while maintaining financial accountability.
- Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and outcomes.
- Collaborate with social work professionals and behavioral health specialists to integrate comprehensive support services for clients.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in management and program development within the social services or healthcare sectors.
- Strong background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
- Excellent relationship management skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Administrative experience including budgeting, reporting, and compliance monitoring is required.
- Demonstrated program management skills, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of services.
- Supervising experience is preferred to lead a team effectively.
- A background in social work or behavioral health is advantageous for understanding client needs.
