The Opportunity As a Director of Finance Consultant, you'll take the lead on strategic financial initiatives for clients navigating change, growth, or complexity. You'll drive planning, forecasting, and performance management, acting as a strategic partner to executive leadership. Whether you're building out FP&A functions, designing board-ready reporting packages, or leading budgeting and forecasting efforts, you'll bring a proactive, hands-on approach to solving complex challenges.

Recent engagements at the Director level include:Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting process for a $200M consumer brand preparing for saleBuilding dynamic financial models and dashboards to support strategic decision-makingDesigning and implementing management reporting frameworks across business unitsPartnering with CFOs to develop investor-ready materials for fundraising or M&ALeading post-acquisition integration of finance functions and reporting systemsOverhauling cost center budgeting and variance analysis for a high-growth technology company
You'll serve as a strategic thought partner while owning tactical execution that drives results.

Ideal candidates also:Have 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or strategic planningBring experience in managing teams or cross-functional initiativesAre highly analytical, with strong Excel/modeling skills and a command of financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive, Anaplan, SAP)Have supported or led board-level reporting and executive presentationsEnjoy building relationships, solving problems, and driving measurable impact
