We are looking for a solid UI/UX designer who can work with the business resources from the customer to define their envisioned user experience using graphical mock ups and wireframes. HUGE bonus if you do know the Oracle technology and have worked Oracle Cloud projects before. Additionally, we are then looking to transition this same resource to a different project with the same client to do the same exact work (in total about 10 weeks of work).
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative UX/UI Designer to join our vibrant product development team. In this role, you will be the creative force behind designing engaging, user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. Your expertise will drive the development of intuitive interfaces, compelling visual designs, and seamless user interactions that elevate our brand and meet business objectives. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into beautiful, functional designs that delight users and foster engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for web and mobile applications, including user research, requirements gathering, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Develop clear and compelling user flows, information architecture, and interaction designs that optimize usability and accessibility across diverse devices and platforms.
- Create high-fidelity visual designs using tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or InVision to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure design implementation aligns with best practices in responsive web design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React, and accessibility standards.
- Conduct user research sessions and analyze data from tools like Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics to inform design decisions.
- Perform A/B testing using platforms such as Adobe Target or Optimizely to validate design choices and improve user engagement.
- Apply design thinking principles to solve complex problems related to e-commerce platforms and digital product experiences.
- Maintain consistency by adhering to established design patterns, style guides, and branding guidelines across all digital assets.
- Use data visualization techniques to present insights clearly within dashboards or reports for stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends in UX/UI design, motion graphics, interaction design, and web accessibility standards to continuously enhance our digital offerings.
Experience
- Proven experience designing engaging web interfaces for e-commerce or digital products using modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX research methods—including user interviews, surveys, usability testing—and applying findings to improve designs.
- Extensive knowledge of wireframing tools (Balsamiq, Axure), prototyping software (InVision, Zeplin), and graphic design applications (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes within Agile environments to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including frameworks like React Express), and RESTful APIs for seamless integration of UI components.
- Ability to analyze data using SQL or analytics platforms for insights that inform user experience enhancements.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and web standards ensuring inclusive designs for all users on various devices including mobile devices.
- Experience working with cloud services such as AWS or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
