Quote to Cash (QTC) Director – Strategic, Scalable, and Impactful Role

A rapidly growing San Diego-based organization is looking for a
Quote to Cash (QTC) Director
to oversee the full revenue process from quote creation through billing and collections. This leader will align people, process, and technology to improve accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across the commercial and financial landscape.

You'll be the connective force between Sales, Finance, IT, Legal, and Operations — leading initiatives that modernize systems, streamline workflows, and improve cash flow. If you're energized by building structure within complexity and driving measurable business impact, this role is for you.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Quote-to-Cash, Order-to-Cash, or Billing Operations in a global business.
  • Adept at managing AR performance metrics including DSO, AR aging, and collection forecasts.
  • Skilled at connecting commercial strategy to back-office execution — spanning contracts, pricing, and revenue management.
  • Proficient with large-scale systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or Oracle, with an ability to lead process automation and system integrations.
  • Known for your ability to simplify complexity, influence across teams, and lead through change.

What you'll do

  • Lead the full QTC lifecycle — from quoting and contracting through billing, revenue recognition, and cash application.
  • Oversee billing operations, ensuring invoices are accurate, timely, and compliant.
  • Establish KPIs, track AR trends, and present cash-flow and collection forecasts to executive leadership.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and shared services teams to refine and document QTC policies and workflows.
  • Identify gaps, drive root-cause analysis, and lead improvement initiatives across sales operations and finance.
  • Guide future-state system strategy, helping integrate CRM, ERP, and billing platforms for scale and visibility.
  • Support new business models and process innovation aligned with company growth objectives.

Why join

  • Influence: Lead a business-critical function that directly supports growth, revenue, and client satisfaction.
  • Visibility: High exposure to senior leadership and enterprise-wide transformation projects.
  • Culture: Collaborative and mission-driven team that values expertise, accountability, and innovation.
  • Growth: Opportunity to shape and evolve an end-to-end process in a global, expanding organization.

Compensation

  • Compensation will be based on experience, education, and overall qualifications.
  • The expected salary range for this role is $200K–$220K base, plus additional bonus and incentive opportunities. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience and skill level.
