Bar Assistant – CFS Coffee (Full Time)

Location: CFS Coffee Store – Autonation

Availability: Full Time Availability

About the Position

At CFS Coffee, we are looking for a Bar Assistant to support the daily operations of our store. This person will be responsible for keeping the bar organized and clean, preparing basic beverages and pastries under supervision, assisting at the register when needed, and providing excellent customer service.

We are seeking individuals with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for hospitality people who want to grow in the world of coffee.

Availability: Must be available to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. (one day off)

Main Responsibilities

  • Punctually comply with assigned schedules and shifts.
  • Stock and keep the bar organized throughout the shift.
  • Prepare simple beverages and assist with recipes under the guidance of the Barista or Bar Leader.
  • Provide basic support at the register and operate the POS system.
  • Check supply inventory, rotate products, and report needs.
  • Follow cleaning routines, hygiene standards, and food safety protocols.
  • Offer friendly customer service, referring questions and requests to the Bar Leader.
  • Collaborate with the team during peak hours and high-demand periods.

Requirements

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in coffee shops, restaurants, or food & beverage operations (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Basic knowledge of beverage preparation, cash register/POS handling, and food hygiene standards.
  • Strong customer service attitude, clear communication, and willingness to learn.
  • Availability for rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays.
