Accounting Office Manager

Accounting Office Manager - Automotive - Younger Auto Group

The Office Manager is responsible to develop organizational procedures and systems for office personnel, including filing, billing, and accounts payable and scheduling. Office Manager will handle day-to-day operations with the focus on efficiency and time management.

Essential Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Assist and review monthly and year-end financial statements in accordance with dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounting schedules, and general ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal controls, and manufacturer policies.
• Oversee title work and MVA compliance.
• Assist with month-end close process, including journal entries and schedule reconciliation.
• Interface with external auditors, tax professionals, and manufacturer representatives.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records for audits and internal use.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2-4years of experience in dealership accounting or a similar automotive role.
• Strong understanding of dealership management systems (preference to CDK & Dealertrack).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule.
