Port City Wholesale is actively seeking dynamic, ambitious Senior Field Sales Representatives to join our rapidly expanding team in Wilmington, NC. This position is ideal for self-motivated sales professionals eager to significantly impact growth within an innovative wholesale distribution company.
About Port City Wholesale: Port City Wholesale is a leading wholesale distributor, specializing in high-quality consumer products such as Nicotine Vapes and Disposables, Kratom and 7-Hydroxy, Hemp-Derived products and our premier THCA brand, Port City Exotics. This highly popular product line is available nationwide and provides our sales representatives with a generous commission structure. We service a diverse network of retail clients across multiple states, offering unmatched opportunities for growth and advancement.
Role Overview: As a Senior Field Sales Representative, you will exclusively handle direct sales interactions by visiting retail stores within your assigned territory. Your primary responsibility is managing and expanding retail relationships, presenting our diverse product lines, and driving consistent sales growth. Representatives typically visit 20-30 retail stores daily, contributing to our average team touch rate of approximately 375 stores per day.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary: $2,400.00 per month, plus generous commission (15% of gross sales)
- Average earnings: Minimum $7,087.50 per month with significant upside potential
- Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly bonus opportunities
- All-expenses-paid team trips at six-month and twelve-month milestones
- Comprehensive benefits package (Health, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 401(k), Employee Discounts, PTO, Mileage and Travel Reimbursement)
- $2,500.00 sign-on bonus for successful onboarding by 5/30/2025
Responsibilities:
- Drive to scheduled retail appointments using your own reliable vehicle
- Present, promote, and sell Port City Wholesale products to store representatives
- Maintain and cultivate strong, lasting customer relationships
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas consistently
- Efficiently manage sales routes to optimize productivity
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
- Previous sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Reliable personal vehicle capable of extensive daily travel
- Responsible, organized, and financially accountable
Additional Considerations:
- Representatives will handle between $10,000 - $20,000 weekly in cash and transactions; financial responsibility is crucial
- Expense reimbursements for vehicle usage, gas, and work-related maintenance
