Overview

As a Fire Sprinkler Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems across various construction sites. You will lead a skilled team, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire sprinkler systems while fostering a culture of safety and quality. Your expertise will be crucial in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and regulations.

What you'll do

  • Supervise and coordinate the installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems on-site.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion.
  • Utilize construction management software, including ProCore and Primavera P6, to track project progress and manage resources effectively.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to guarantee compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in installation techniques and safety protocols.
  • Prepare detailed construction estimates and manage contracts related to fire sprinkler projects.
  • Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters for testing system functionality and troubleshooting issues.

Skills

  • Proven experience in construction management with a strong focus on fire protection systems.
  • Proficiency in construction management software
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret complex schematics.
  • Solid background in quality control measures within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with effective team management skills.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling techniques to ensure efficient workflow on-site.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to fire safety and construction practices.
