Position Overview Silco Fire & Security is seeking a motivated leader to become our next Sprinkler Project Manager. The Sprinkler Project Manager is responsible for customer communication, job documentation and permitting, project ordering/staging & inventory, monitor communication and supervise the project process. This role ensures that all sprinkler fire protection systems are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. The manager will lead a team of install technicians, coordinate schedules, provide technical support and training, and perform additional duties as assigned by management. Responsibilities Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sprinkler installation technicians. Leadership: Collaborate with sales, design, Superintendent, and customers to effectively schedule & assign projects to installation technicians. Leadership: Conduct regular team meetings to review performance and provide updates on new procedures or regulations. Leadership: Ensure team compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Leadership: Participate in and give input to technician hiring, performance, and termination decisions. Leadership: Approve / Order ALL Job Purchases (Minimal Tech Purchases Permitted). Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to technicians installation projects. Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues with fire protection systems. Technical Support: Stay updated with the latest fire protection technologies and best practices. Customer Service: Maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Customer Service: Coordinate with customers to schedule complex projects involving multiple trades. Customer Service: Provide detailed reports and documentation. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all fire protection systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Compliance and Documentation: Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory agencies as required. Qualifications 3 - 5 years of experience managing fire sprinkler installation projects. Strong knowledge in NFPA 13. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of fire sprinkler protection systems and related regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
