Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We have moved operations into a newly renovated 300,000 sq. foot facility that will foster our continued growth as we continue to be recognized as the undisputed leader in our industry. As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for a Operations Manager to join our growing team. Overview:Global Power produces weld assemblies, fabricated metal buildings, and large complex assemblies of power equipment. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead and optimize production planning and execution as our company evolves from an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) model into a scalable, medium-volume manufacturing operation.In this role, you'll play a key role in shaping repeatable manufacturing systems and processes to support our growth as a rapidly scaling company. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing, project management, or supply chain, along with a strong track record of driving process improvement and organizational change. This position requires someone who is aggressively pragmatic and dynamically focused. RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and manage production schedules, ensuring alignment with operational goals and business growth targets.Lead the transition from ETO to repeatable, scalable manufacturing processes with a focus on efficiency, cost control, and quality.Execute day-to-day operations through a seasoned team of production supervisors; provide leadership, coordination, and accountability.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (supply chain, engineering, quality, etc.) to ensure production readiness and resource availability.Implement and refine production planning systems (ERP/MRP), workflows, and reporting tools to increase visibility and control.Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologies.Manage internal coordination for material availability, capacity planning, and shop floor execution.Promote a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and innovation throughout the production team.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing or production management roles.Experience in both ETO (Engineer to Order) and CTO (Configured to Order) manufacturing.Experience in scaling operations / change management.Experience with ERP Systems and digital inventory management tools.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSDemonstrated experience in project management or supply chain.Familiarity with Smartsheet or Epicor.WORK REQUIREMENTS;Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel between our facilities (
