In-Place Machining Company is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to drive the heartbeat of our financial operations. As the leader of our Shared Services Accounting team, you'll oversee critical functions like payroll, expense reporting, and accounts payable across multiple business units. You'll be instrumental in scaling our operations to support IPM's continued expansion, integrating newly acquired businesses, and optimizing processes that keep our company running smoothly.

Requirements

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of 4–6 accounting professionals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies across payroll, purchasing, and travel & expense
  • Oversee accounts payable operations — from vouchering to vendor master data management
  • Administer payroll and expense software systems and ensure seamless functionality
  • Train employees on payroll, timekeeping, and expense applications
  • Play a key role in onboarding and integrating newly acquired companies

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of operational accounting experience — services, construction, or manufacturing preferred
  • Proven success managing payroll for hourly and salaried employees with complex pay structures
  • A customer-first mindset with a knack for solving problems quickly and effectively
  • Thrive under pressure in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Tech-savvy with experience across multiple accounting systems and business applications
