Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and possess the skills necessary to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive high-quality service in line with our fine dining standards.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, while upselling items to enhance guest experience.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, maintaining attention to detail in presentation and accuracy.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow and timely food preparation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards.
  • Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures while maintaining basic math skills for transactions.
  • Assist with hosting duties as needed, welcoming guests and managing reservations through OpenTable or similar systems.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining establishments or nightclubs.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
