Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales potential
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and processing payments via OpenTable or other reservation systems
  • Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
  • Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
  • Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards to uphold health regulations at all times
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub setting
  • Assist with host/host duties during busy periods to manage reservations and seating arrangements effectively

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; experience in fine dining or nightlife environments is a plus
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
  • Experience in serving at nightclubs or similar lively venues is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
