Our client, a highly-rated national insurance leader, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Senior Full-Stack Engineer / Tech Lead
to drive the development of their next-generation insurance platforms. This is a critical role responsible for designing, building, and deploying secure, scalable, and highly efficient applications using the latest Microsoft stack and Azure cloud-native services.
Responsibilities
This role offers a unique blend of development, cloud engineering, and technical leadership across the entire application stack:
- Design and build highly intuitive and efficient user interfaces using the latest stable releases of Angular and Telerik controls.
- Develop, maintain, and secure, scalable, and high-performance APIs using .NET 9.
- Employ modern front-end design practices with clean HTML5 and CSS.
- Work with stakeholders and customers to deeply understand business requirements, translating complex needs into robust and aligned software solutions.
- Own and enhance automated Build and Release pipelines within Azure DevOps.
- Actively leverage a wide range of native Azure services (PaaS and Serverless) to optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Contribute to technical strategy, ensuring all solutions adhere to best practices in cloud architecture, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to prioritize and drive software development initiatives.
- Effectively communicate development progress, architectural decisions, and technical issues to peers and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with the Microsoft stack, including extensive work with .NET (v6+ to .NET 9) and Angular.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Expertise in database design, maintenance, and optimization using MSSQL & NoSQL.
- Entity Framework (EF) Code First experience is mandatory.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing modern, state-of-the-art API architectures.
- Proven ability in writing effective unit and integration tests, leveraging frameworks like nUnit/xUnit.
- Deep competence in source control management using Git.
- Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and development best practices.
- A deep understanding of cloud architectures and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to manage complexity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead technical discussions.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of prioritizing and executing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
