Job Title: Med/Tele/Swing RN – Acute & Telemetry NurseLocation: Valley City, NDStart Date: October 27, 2025End Date: January 26, 2026Contract Type: Travel ContractShift Type: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)Hours per Week: 36 hrs/week guaranteedAbout the RoleLooking for a travel assignment where teamwork and flexibility are truly valued? This 13-week contract in Valley City, ND places you in a dynamic Med/Tele/Swing Bed unit within a Critical Access Hospital. With 19 beds and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3–6, you'll care for patients with pneumonia, CHF, COPD, pancreatitis, GI bleeds, and post-acute rehab needs.This role is ideal for dependable, caring nurses who are confident in IV starts, telemetry, NG and Foley insertion, and respiratory equipment setup. You'll be part of the code team, float between acute and swingbed units, and work every other weekend and holiday.ResponsibilitiesProvide bedside care for acute and swingbed patientsPerform IV starts, NG tube and Foley catheter insertionsRead and interpret telemetry strips using Mindray monitorsSet up and manage respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and HFNCCollaborate with CNAs for personal care, vitals, and documentationFloat between Med/Tele, Acute, Obs, and Swingbed units as neededDocument care using Meditech EMRParticipate in code team response and team-based schedulingQualificationsMinimum 1 year of nursing experience in medical and telemetry unitsMust live >50 miles from facilityFirst-time travelers welcomeEducation & CertificationsActive RN license (in good standing)BLS and ACLS (AHA required)BSN not requiredKnowledge & SkillsStrong clinical skills in acute and telemetry careProficient in respiratory equipment setup and troubleshootingFamiliarity with Meditech charting systemExcellent communication, flexibility, and teamworkReady to apply?Send your resume to Call/Text recruiter Sumit at Job Types: Contract, TemporaryPay: $ $59.00 per hourExpected hours: 36 per weekBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceWork Location: In person
