As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Transportation Facility in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required by incident or site protocol.
• Maintain a visible and professional presence while on patrol to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or Armed Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Baton Permit Certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard Card or Guard License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
