Job Summary

As a Security Guard, you will be the frontline protector of our premises, ensuring the safety and security of staff, visitors, and property. Your energetic presence and vigilant eye will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring activities, controlling access points, and responding swiftly to any incidents. Duties

  • Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
  • Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, including medical incidents or security breaches.
  • Provide first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals until professional help arrives.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring official intervention.
  • Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills to de-escalate tensions.
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or damage.
  • Support emergency preparedness plans and participate in safety drills regularly.

Experience

  • Prior experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable.
  • Training or certification in first aid, CPR, or emergency response is preferred.
  • Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm systems is advantageous.
  • Background in military service or related fields can provide valuable skills for this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle conflict management situations with professionalism and tact.
  • Knowledge of security protocols, loss prevention techniques, and emergency procedures is essential.
