Job Summary: The Returns/Retail Claims Specialist is responsible for verifying, researching, and processing all claims/returns from customers. Work with sales team, suppliers and intercompany departments to ensure that claims are processed correctly and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Process installation claims for damaged or defective product.
  • Process returns to suppliers.
  • Provide support to sales and management for claims.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound judgment, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Build, maintain, and foster strong relationships.
  • Intermediate skill level Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Intermediate computer skills familiar with ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of distribution, inventory and purchasing functions.
  • Organized and capable of handling high volume of interactions with all departments.
  • Ability to multi-task various processes and projects.
  • Must have effective time management skills to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma
  • Associates degree preferred
  • No experience required- will train

Work Environment:

  • Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
