Role:

The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for guiding providers through the onboarding process from start to finish. This role requires a proactive, sales-oriented approach, strong attention to detail, and consistent outbound communication to ensure providers are successfully credentialed, trained, and ready to begin servicing trips. If you are detail-driven, confident in outreach, and skilled at presenting value while overcoming objections, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

Provider Onboarding & Credentialing

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all new providers, managing onboarding from initial outreach to final approval.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and SMS campaigns to ensure timely collection of all required documents and credentials.
  • Guide providers through system setup, training, and compliance verification.
  • Present NationsTransportation competitive market rates clearly and persuasively to prospective providers.
  • Use a sales-minded approach to highlight benefits, overcome objections, and drive provider engagement and retention.

Training & Support

  • Deliver training sessions on operational tools, including trip management, real-time status updates, and payment processes.
  • Ensure providers clearly understand performance expectations, compliance requirements, and incentive opportunities.
  • Maintain ongoing communication to answer questions and encourage timely completion of tasks.

Performance & Compliance Oversight

  • Track onboarding progress and escalate delays or compliance gaps to leadership.
  • Ensure providers meet minimum insurance and credentialing standards before activation.
  • Maintain accurate records and update provider status in real time.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in sales, customer onboarding, vendor support, or operations (healthcare, logistics, or transportation preferred).
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills with the ability to present rates confidently and overcome objections effectively.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-up discipline.
