As a Safety Data Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our data management processes. What you'll do
- Manage the collection, organization, and analysis of safety data to support compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize tools such as Tableau and SQL to visualize data trends and generate insightful reports for stakeholders.
- Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure seamless data integration from various sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to enhance project outcomes and drive efficiency.
- Design and maintain databases that support big data initiatives while ensuring data integrity and security.
- Lead initiatives focused on linked data strategies to improve accessibility and usability of safety information.
- Conduct thorough analyses using Python, Informatica, Talend, and Oracle to identify areas for improvement in safety practices.
- Provide leadership in developing innovative solutions that enhance our overall safety management framework.
Basic qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
- Experience with database design and management in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in project management principles with a focus on delivering results.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in data warehousing concepts and practices.
