What you'll do

  • Manage the collection, organization, and analysis of safety data to support compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize tools such as Tableau and SQL to visualize data trends and generate insightful reports for stakeholders.
  • Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure seamless data integration from various sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to enhance project outcomes and drive efficiency.
  • Design and maintain databases that support big data initiatives while ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Lead initiatives focused on linked data strategies to improve accessibility and usability of safety information.
  • Conduct thorough analyses using Python, Informatica, Talend, and Oracle to identify areas for improvement in safety practices.
  • Provide leadership in developing innovative solutions that enhance our overall safety management framework.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
  • Experience with database design and management in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in project management principles with a focus on delivering results.

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in data warehousing concepts and practices.
