Position Overview

The Palm Beach Towers Condominium Association is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Entry-Level IT Support Specialist to join our team. This position plays an essential role in supporting residents, staff, and management with technical needs in a high-end residential environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a service-oriented attitude, and a willingness to assist with both technical and operational support across departments.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support & Technical Assistance:

  • Respond promptly to service tickets and technical requests from residents and staff.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
  • Wi-Fi and internet connectivity
  • TV and phone systems
  • Printers, scanners, and other office equipment
  • Password resets and software access
  • Condo Control, email, and related applications
  • Maintain documentation of recurring technical issues and resolutions.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors when necessary for advanced support or installations.

Resident Technology Support:

  • Provide courteous and patient technical assistance to residents in their units or common areas.
  • Host seasonal basic IT training sessions for residents covering topics such as smartphone use, online safety, and smart device setup.
  • Offer one-on-one support for common technology challenges.

Operational Cross-Training:

  • Serve as a floater to provide assistance and coverage across various departments, including:
  • Concierge
  • Valet
  • Security
  • Front Desk Operations
  • Gain a general understanding of community procedures to ensure seamless support when cross-covering roles.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of networking, Wi-Fi, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well with senior residents.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Customer service experience required; hospitality or residential experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required.
