Warehouse Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and systems-savvy Warehouse Operations Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations at Starbond.

This role focuses on inventory management, LTL and order fulfillment, and data accuracy—ensuring warehouse processes run efficiently and align fully with Starbond's operational standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and proactive, with working knowledge of warehouse systems and comfort in using spreadsheets to record, verify, and communicate data accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

• Assist in receiving and recording incoming shipments, verifying quantities and conditions against purchase orders under the supervision of the Inventory Controller.
• Participate in cycle counts and monthly physical inventory audits, helping maintain stock accuracy.
• Process and document inventory adjustments and returns in coordination with the Warehouse Supervisor or Inventory Controller.
• Update warehouse management systems (e.g., Katana, ERP/WMS, Google Sheets) with accurate stock information for real-time tracking.
• Ensure items are properly tagged, labeled, and traceable.
• Support preparation of inventory reports, identifying variances and ensuring high accuracy across all stock data.

Order Fulfillment Support

• Print and verify pick and pack slips to ensure accuracy in order processing.
• Assist in packing, labeling, and verifying shipments according to fulfillment standards.
• Support Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and parcel shipment scheduling with carriers.
• Prepare and manage Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, and replacement orders.
• Ensure data in the B2B tracker and other fulfillment tools are accurate and up to date.
• Communicate with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to provide real-time updates on order and shipment status.

Collaboration & Communication

• Report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and collaborate daily with the Inventory Controller and Fulfillment Lead.
• Provide clear, timely updates to relevant teams regarding stock issues, delays, or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation using Google Sheets and other tracking systems.
• Follow warehouse safety protocols and help maintain a clean, efficient, and organized workspace.
• Participate in monthly warehouse counts and audits, which may require occasional weekend work.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
• Familiarity with warehouse or inventory software (e.g., Katana, ERP, or WMS).
• Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel (basic to intermediate level; ability to use formulas, sort/filter, and generate simple reports).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Physical readiness to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the Torrance, CA warehouse.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with LTL shipping, EDI systems, or international shipping (a plus).
• Prior exposure to QuickBooks for inventory-related updates (not required; training provided).
• Familiarity with B2B fulfillment processes and documentation standards.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay Range:$22.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Expected Hours: 40 per week, with occasional weekend work for audits
• Work Location: On-site in Torrance, CA
