Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Supervisor and lead the charge in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our mental health services. In this pivotal role, you will oversee QA procedures to ensure the division is in compliance with Los Angeles Department of Mental Health documentation regulations, Special Service for Groups billing requirements and to provide support with EHR and EDI systems. You will also support staff training and supervision of staff and interns to ensure quality of direct service.

Responsibilities

· Attend QA, Clinical Advisory Counsel, SSG QA/QI, CARF, SPA 6 QIC Meetings as pertinent to division needs.

· Work with QA/IS team to provide training for staff on paperwork as needed; training and development for all new staff, interns and volunteers. These trainings are to include documentation, procedural, and clinical content areas.

· Supervise and lead internal and external chart audits to ensure compliance with Medi-Cal, DMH, CARF, HIPAA and other compliance.

· Collaborate with other SSG program coordinators, managers, and DMH in regard to communication about documentation and staff training.

· Manage, monitor, and notify analysis of QA review activities.

· Identify staff training needs, develop and maintain training manuals.

· Assist with reviewing and approving staff documentation in accordance with paperwork standards.

· Provide LPS and clinical support of staff in absence of division director and/or program manager.

· Maintain a caseload to provide direct services to individuals and families.

· Provide clinical supervision for interns and staff as needed.

· Provide on-call in rotation and crisis response consultation and support for intensive program staff.

· Recruit and hiring staff of various disciplines.

· Conduct performance evaluation.

· Update and maintain current staff information on EHR and NAPAA.

· Supervise and manage the IS/QA team and administrative team.

Requirements

· LCSW or LMFT with four years experience post licensure in mental health setting.

· LPS designated.

· Ability to supervise ASW's and MFT interns, per BBS requirements.

· Knowledge and experience with EBP and treatment models for children, family and group.

· Four years of experience with DMH documentation.

· Verification of employment eligibility and background check required

· Valid California Driver License, proof of auto insurance and reliable transportation required

· Maintain and uphold Agency mission statement, values, policies, procedures, and principles

· Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

· Preferred experience with EXYM and EDI billing

· Knowledge of billing various health plans, including private insurance

· Availability to work alternate hours based on need for coverage

Pay: $90, $110,000.00 per year
